The Ski Renter of Cupertino is now offering hiking and camping equipment rental bundles in addition to winter ski and snowboard rentals.

We live in such an awesome place! Because of its mild, year-round climate, Santa Clara Valley and the surrounding hills are ideal for hiking and camping almost year-round. Checking Google maps for nearby county parks and open spaces, I was amazed to find over 30 places within just a few miles of The Ski Renter in Cupertino.

Places like Fremont Older Open Space Preserve, Stevens Creek Reservoir, Pichetti Ranch Open Space Preserve, El Sereno Open Space Preserve, Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve, Saratoga Gap County Park, Long Ridge Open Space Preserve, Sanborn County Park, the 28-mile Skyline-to-the-Sea Trail, Stuart Ridge County Park, Castle Rock State Park, … rolling hills interspersed with stream-cut valleys, all dotted with live and valley oaks, California buckeye, coast redwoods, Douglas fir and Monterey pine, to name just a few. And trails just waiting to be explored.

Just a few hours’ drive opens up even more exciting places, with names like Pt. Reyes National Seashore, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite Valley, the Sierra Nevada, Pinnacles National Park, Monterey Bay, Big Sur, Ventana Wilderness, Los Padres National Forest, Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Park, and Death Valley National Park. It’s all right here at our finger tips, just waiting for us to enjoy. We truly do live in an awesome place!

And to help make it that much easier for you, the Ski Renter is now renting sleeping bags, tents, backpacks, stoves, lamps, and offering all the other gear and accessories you will need to have a great weekend camping in and enjoying this Nature Next Door!

So why purchase when you can rent?
