Snow Is In the Forecast
We were getting worried!
It hasn’t snowed significantly in several weeks. There is still plenty of snow on the mountains… as of today at Squaw, for example, there is 35” at base and 83” on top. Still, it’s old snow, ice and slush. It’s OK where it’s groomed, but there hasn’t been much powder, if any. But don’t despair; the snow is back!
The mountains received several inches the past few days, with more predicted for this coming Saturday through Tuesday the 17th; 20 inches over the next week! The lines won’t be as long now that the big holidays are over, and the drive to and from the slopes should be much easier, too. So stop by, pick up some gear and head for the mountains!
