Timing Is Everything!
It’s the middle of June, and the forecast is 3″ of new snow at many of the Sierra ski resorts!
January and February snow this year was only so-so. Then we got the “shelter-in-place” directive in March, just about the same time the snow started seriously falling. And here it is almost June, and it’s still teasing us! In skiing and snowboarding, as in so many things, timing is everything!
We hope you are doing well! We at The Ski Renter, are busy prepping for next season; waxing, edging, re-calibrating bindings, adding new equipment, and sanitizing everything, all while social distancing!
We are also busy developing new health and safety protocols for ski and board renting so we can continue to offer the best rental equipment with the best service at the best prices while focusing on the health and safety of our customers and staff. Everything we are doing is based on the recommendations of the CDC, the Snow Sports Industry, and the National Retail Federation. Our overriding goal, as always, is to help make the coming season a good one for everyone.
Stay safe and stay healthy and we look forward to seeing you in the fall.
Thank you for your continuing support of The Ski Renter, a community-focused, green small business. And think snow!
